ST PATRICK’S GAA CLUB NOTES

Limerick Hurling Celebrations:
Congratulations to Gearòid Hegarty who enjoyed the celebrations for the success of the Limerck Senior Hurling team and Management during 2019, 2020 and 2021 at the Strand Hotel on Saturday evening.
Gearòid was honoured with eight coveted medals. Absolutely outstanding and well deserved.
Friday Night Hurling:
Friday nights hurling went on tour for our final night before a well deserved break for all. A fine mild evening in UL for our young stars to enjoy their hurling under the lights.
A big thank you to the coaches and volunteers for their fantastic work throughout the year with the various groups.
Hurling Street League:
St Patrick’s annual hurling street league wil be held this Saturday from 3pm in Rhebogue. This is always a highlight of the year, with both the street league cup and shield up for grabs. There will also be a some very special guests on the day.
Come along to Rhebogue from 3pm to enjoy the skills and thrills of our hurling street league.
U21 Football:
Our U21 footballers had a very good start to their campaign, when defeating Ahane on Sunday last. Missing a number of regulars on the day for differing reasons this young panel really stepped up, especially in the second half, with some fine passages of football in difficult conditions. There are two further games this week against West Limerick opposition in Granagh/Ballingarry and Belville Gaels
The panel are primed for a good run over the coming weeks in this competition.
