SOUTH LIBERTIES

Hard luck to Our Junior Lads who lost out in their A County League Hurling Semi-final V Garryspillane last Friday June 23rd.
Our U11 group played out a great game V Claughaun at home last week. We had a fine turnout at this age with over 30 players turning up. It is never too late to join your local GAA club to learn the skills of hurling and gaelic and make friends for life. Contact the club for more details.

South Liberties Legends Golf Classic
Unfortunately for everyone, natures elements went against us last Friday, when heavy rain caused our famous yearly outing to be called off at 2.30pm. Despite the disappointment, there was much goodwill with everyone and we hope to reschedulethe day for sometime in September. Many thanks to our 3 main sponsors South Court Hotel, STL Logistics and BDO, John Leamy and his team for their hard work, Ballyneety Golf Club and Vines – and so many others who sponsor us.
All Ireland Senior Hurling Semi Final
All of us in South Liberties GAA wish Barry Nash and the Limerick hurling panel and management, the very best of luck in their quest to reach another All Ireland Final when they take on Galway in the semi next Sunday in Croker. Safe travels to everyone attending.
