PALLASGREEN GAA CLUB NOTES
EAST SENIOR HURLING LEAGUE: Pallas gave a spirited display against in the recent round of the East Senior Hurling league in Doon last Saturday evening. Having competed well in the first half Pallas trailed by 0-5 to 0-11 at the short whistle. In the second period Doon threatened to take further control of the game but a goal by Pallas with added points gave their more illustrious opponents something to ponder leading towards the finish. After a good hours hurling the game finished with the honours going to the home side by 0-19 to 1-11. LIMERICK SENIOR FOOTBALLERS: Congratulations to Brian Fanning and Aaron O’Sullivan who did the club proud donning the Limerick jersey last Saturday afternoon in the Munster championship semi final against Cork in the LIT Gaelic Grounds. Both players acquitted themselves well in the defeat of Cork who ran out winners by 1-16 to 0-11.
