Our weekly lotto draw took place on Monday 19th of September in The Central Bar, and the numbers drawn were 02, 04, 12, 28. There was no winner so the next week’s jackpot rose to €7,600.
The lucky dip winners of €40 each were Brenda Hennessy (c/o Pat Condon), Margaret Delee, Pat Condon, Mary Quilligan (Churchtown), Aileen O’Connor (c/o Noel O’Connor).
Our next weekly lotto draw took place on Monday 26th of September in Whelan’s Bar, and the numbers drawn were 02, 18, 25, 28. There was no winner so next week’s jackpot will be €7,800 and will take place in The Central Bar.

Follow the onscreen instructions to set up, so you will never again miss out on the latest club news, fixtures, results, lotto draw results etc. Lotto can be played through the app.
Scór Sinsear 2022
Newcastle West GAA is looking for participants, over 18 years of age, to take part in this year’s Limerick County Senior Scór Competition. The competition events in Scór include, Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Recitation/Story Telling, Novelty Act, Instrumental Music, Table Quiz, Set Dancing and Figure Dancing. You must be a member of Newcastle GAA or Camogie Club to participate.
There are no preliminary rounds. The Limerick County Final takes place on Saturday, October 1st at 7pm, venue to be confirmed. The Tráth na gCeist competition takes place on Thursday, September 29th at 8pm in Mungret. The Munster Final takes place on October 15th.

Adult Hurling
Our final round fixture of the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship against Knockainey is fixed for 3pm on Saturday the 8th of October in Ballyagran.
Adult Football
Well done to our senior footballers who defeated Fr Casey’s on a scoreline of 0.12 to 0.11 in Dromcolliher on the 25th of September in the final SFC group game, and in doing so progressed directly to the county semi-final. The quarter finals take place this weekend, where the winners of Monaleen v St Kierans’s and Fr Casey’s v Kildimo Pallaskenry will join ourselves and Adare and the semi finals.
U17
Hard luck to our U17s football who lost out narrowly to Senan’s and St Patrick’s in our final 2 group matches. The result means we finished 3rd in the group in qualify for the shield semi-final.
U15
We have played all of our competitive matches at this age grade, training will continue into September and October.
U13
Best of luck to our U13 football panel and their management in the shield final against Na Piarsigh, which is scheduled for 6.15 on Thursday the 29th of September in Kildimo.
U11
Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Numbers continue to be very impressive at this age, will done to all involved.
U9
We continue with matches or training on Monday and Friday nights and welcome Fr Casey’s to NCW on Friday the 30th of September.
U7
Training continues from 6-7pm on Fridays and blitzes have recommenced on Saturday mornings for this age group, details to be provided by coaches.
