U15 were in the Division 2 championship final last night 30th August in Rathkeale against Newcastlewest. There was great value for the €5 entrance fee as both teams were well up for the match and evenly matched, at half time it was Newcastlewest who were a point up NCW 1.8 – Bouncers 1.7. At the water break the scores were level at 2.9 a piece. And at the final whistle the sides were level again at 3.12. Extra time was played, lights had to be turned on and again at half time in extra time it was Bouncers 3.15 – Newcastlewest 3.15, nothing separating these young lads. As the final whistle went at the end of extra time it was Bouncers 3.17 – Newcastlewest 3.17. Draw after extra time. With the lights off in Rathkeale it was to be a replay. Date and venue to be decided. Well done to all involved.
