18th August – U17’s championship v Doon in Knocklong at 7pm
21st August – U7’s v Bruff in Bruff at 10.30
23rd August – u13’s v Ballyhea in Knocklong
27th August – U 9’s v Dromin/Athlacca at 6.45
Bord Na nóg Results
U15’s played Mungret in Division 2 Championship semi final in Rathkeale on Monday evening. Mungret started the better and after a few minutes were 1.1 to no score up. Bouncers settled well and at half time the score was Garryspillane 1.4 – Mungret 1.3. What continued to be a close game saw the sides level at the end of normal time the score was Garryspillane 1.10 – Mungret 2.7. Extra time was to be played. With both teams battling fatigue after a tough encounter it was Bouncers who came out on top at the final whistle. Final score after extra time, Garryspillane 1.16 – Mungret 2.9. Final is down for 4th September.

2021 Féile
Feile nan Gael is on this coming weekend and this year has moved to U15’s. Garryspillane are in Feile A and are hosting Feile A – Group 2 in Knocklong, group is Cois Laoi Gaels, Bruff and Belville Gaels. Garryspillane play Cois Laoi Gaels at 3pm, Bruff at 4pm and Belville Gaels at 5pm. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Upcoming Camp
James Ryan is holding a hurling and football camp Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th August from 10am to 2pm for kids aged 6 to 15. Price is €30 per child. Book in and pay on the day.

Envelopes are available to the community in Meade’s shop, creeds shop, the co op, The Hill bar, Fogarty’s bar, The Welcome inn, Credit union, Hinchys, Optp and The Magnet. Envelopes are available at underage training on Monday evenings from 7pm Available to play online until 6.00pm on day of draw. The draw is held every Monday night after underage training approx 9pm.
