CAHERLINE GAA CLUB NOTES
CLUB LOTTO: No jackpot winner – numbers drawn were 10, 21, 23 & 25. Lucky dip winners were Marie Boland, Declan & Aileen Moore, Matthew Coffey, Declan O’Riordan and Fiona Casey. Next week’s jackpot will be €3,300 and the draw will be held on Friday night via Facebook Live. As always, we appreciate everyone’s support.
JUNIOR A CHAMPIONSHIP: A 7-point win for us in the end, but we were made to fight for every one of them! Final score was Caherline 0-24 Old Christians 2-11. Next up is a game against Ballybricken on Saturday evening at 4pm in Cappamore.
U-17 HURLING: We came up against a good Blackrock team last Wednesday in Caherconlish, but our lads stood up and played some of their best hurling this year. The final score was unfair on the lads given their effort, but Blackrock always had that extra gear and it paid off in the end. FInal score Caherline 5-07 Blackrock 5-17.
FIXTURES: On Tueday evening, our U-11’s welcome Glenroe to Caherconlish, throw-in at 6:45pm. On Saturday morning next, our U-7’s welcome Knockainey for a blitz at 10:30am. Later that day, our Junior A team travel to Cappamore to play Ballybricken, throw-in there at 4pm. We would like to wish the very best of luck to all teams playing this week!
