Lotto
There was no winner of last weeks Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 6, 8, 10 and 11. The Lucky Dip winners were €50 Martin Treacy and €20 went to each of the following: Tim McAuliffe, John Foley, Geraldine O’Neill, Miriam Sadlier Barry, Eimear Finn, Teresa McEniry, Maurice Hehir, Karen Ryan and Brian Finn Jnr. Premier Intermediate Hurling
The Premier Intermediate Hurlers played Dromin / Athlacca in the second round of the Championship last Sunday afternoon. The team was Eric Finn, Graham Whelan, Conor McEniry, Patrick Finn, Kevin Bonar, Sean Finn, James O’ Riordan, Jason Hayes, Darragh Butler, Christopher Browne, Paul Browne, Colin Madden, Danny O’ Leary, Ian Gardiner, Paul O’ Riordan, Sean Murnane, Cormac Daly, Bobby O’ Brien, David Browne, Josh Keating, Cian Madden, Tim O’ Sullivan, Killian Bennett, Paudi Mulcahy, John Bulfin, David Mulqueen, Kyle Dillon and Oisin Mulqueen. One sub used. The scorers were Paul Browne (0-1), Jason Hayes (0-1), Christopher Browne (0-3), Danny O’ Leary (1-9, 0-7F), Paul O’ Riordan (1-2) and Colin Madden (0-1). The final score was Bruff 2-17 Dromin / Athlacca 2-21.
Junior Hurling
The Junior Hurlers played Hospital / Herbertstown last Thursday evening in the first round of the South Championship. The team was Cormac Daly, James Callinan, Pat O’ Neill, David Mulqueen, Gregory Dempsey, Tim O’ Sullivan, Paudi Mulcahy, Sean Murnane, Tony Burke, Oisin Mulqueen, George Clancy, Kyle Dillon, John Bulfin, Cian Madden, Gearoid O’ Leary, Killian Bennett, Nial Brosnan, Eoin Murphy, Evan O’ Neill, Michael Lundon and Tony Clancy. Five subs used. The scorers were John Bulfin (0-4), Gearoid O’ Leary (2-1), Kyle Dillon (0-13, 0-6F), Gregory Dempsey (0-2), Sean Murnane (0-3), Cian Madden (1-1), Tony Burke (0-3), Killian Bennett (0-2). The final score was Bruff 3-29 Hospital / Herbertstown 0-4.
U13 Hurling
Well done to our U13 Hurlers who had a comprehensive win over Patrickswell last Friday evening in the County Semi Final. Congratulations to all the players and coaches who’ve put in an enormous amount of work to reach the County Final.
Adult Hurling Fixtures
The Premier Intermediate Hurlers are scheduled to play Newcastle West in the third round of the Championship. Similar to our last game, tickets are required to gain entry. The match is scheduled for Sunday, September 19th, in Croagh and throw in is 1pm. The Junior Hurlers are scheduled to play Dromin / Athlacca in the second round of the South Championship this Thursday evening, September 16th. The match is on in Bruff and throw in is at 6.30pm. At the moment online tickets are not required to gain entry to the Junior match. Please ensure that details for these matches have not changed prior to travelling. All support is greatly appreciated.
