Return of Play for our Adult Teams
Monday May 10th sees our Adult teams get back out on the pitches! After months of training individually the day has come for them to get back out on the pitch and train together. Once again a huge thank you to our Field Committee and volunteers who ensured the both pitches were lined for the return of our adult players. There are so many people that do so much work behind the scenes to ensure that our facilities are in top class condition so we want to take this opportunity to thank them for all their hard work! It was also fantastic to welcome the Limerick and Kerry Camogie teams to Mackey Park for their challenge game on Sunday morning. We want to wish both the Limerick Senior and Junior team the very best of luck in their respective Littlewoods National League campaigns.
Allianz National Hurling League
It was absolutely wonderful to see some live hurling back on our screens. Limerick welcomed neighbours Tipperary to the LIT Gaelic Grounds on Saturday afternoon for a good game of hurling! The teams were level on 10 occasions throughout the game and they ended with 20 points apiece. A good start for both teams to their league campaigns. Limerick now head to Galway next Sunday to play Galway in Pearse Stadium at 3:45 and we want to wish Tom, Dan and all the Senior Hurlers the very best of luck next weekend!
Allianz National Football League
Wishing the Limerick Senior Footballers the very best of luck against Munster Champions Tipperary next Saturday in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 5pm.
Ahane GAA Golf Umbrella
As we all know Ireland would be a lovely country if only we could roof it! However due to the fact we can’t roof it, we have to ensure we have an umbrella with us at all times. You can now buy limited edition Ahane GAA Golf umbrella for all those rainy day matches and winter training sessions. If you want to order one you need to be quick as when they are gone they are gone! The umbrellas cost €30 and they should be with us within 4-6 weeks. You’ll find photos of the umbrellas on our social media. To order an umbrella just message us on Facebook or email Emer on pro.ahane.limerick@gaa.ie
