U7 Football
Well done to our U7 team who took part in a football blitz in South Liberties on Saturday. Our three teams played matches against Monaleen, Ballybrown, South Liberties and Dromin Athlaca Banogue.
U9 Football
Well done to our U9 footballers who played a blitz on Thursday evening in Old Christians GAA Club. 5 clubs took part and it was a great evening of sport and there were great skills on show from Ahane! We fielded three teams!
U9 Hurling
Our U9 hurlers hosted Silvermines on Saturday in glorious sunshine in Mackey Park. Each club fielded three teams and great games were played! Thanks to our visitors, coaches and parents.
U13 Hurling
Our U13 hurlers played out a titanic battle on Thursday evening against Kilmallock which ended in a draw after normal time and then ended in a draw after extra time. The game went to penalties, which ended all square and then went to sudden death where the sides still couldn’t be separated. It was decided between both teams and the officials that the game be replayed! The game will now go ahead on Tuesday at 6:30pm in Croom.
Limerick Underage Teams
Well done to the Limerick U16 A team on winning the All Ireland U16 A Final beating Wexford. Well done to all involved, particularly our own Conor Bickford and Cathal O’Mara who were on the U16 teams. Conor played on the winning team! Well done to the Limerick U15 A team who won the All Ireland final beating Galway on Saturday. A huge achievement for the lads! Huge well done to our own Jack Cosgrove, Conor Ryan, John O’Connor and Denis Blackwell who were on the Limerick U15 panels. Well done also to Ronan Butler who played with the Limerick U14 team on Saturday!
