LEE’S CENTRA COME ON BOARD AS SPONSORS WITH PALLASGREEN GAA & LGFA: Speaking at the launch last week Club Secretary, Margo Greene said “Pallasgreen GAA Club would like to thank Ray and Brendan Lee of Lee’s Centra Pallasgreen for their very kind sponsorship of our recent very successful golf classic at Ballykisteen Golf Club and last Thursday evening we welcomed Ray & Brendan to our GAA grounds where they presented a new set of jerseys to our Intermediate hurling & football team. We wish Lee’s Centra Pallasgreen every success in their new venture. We are encouraged by the support given by Ray & Brendan to date, and we hope that we continue this relationship going forward”. Pallasgreen LGFC is a Ladies Gaelic Football Club in East Limerick. Since its foundation in 2015 it has grown to a membership of 153 players with the club now fielding teams in all age groups from U8s up to Junior Ladies. The club was founded with the intention of providing young girls in our community the opportunity to partake in sport in a safe, encouraging and fun environment and has become a place where many great friendships are formed and the girls experience the many positive benefits of what it feels like to be part of a team.
Pallasgreen LGFC Chairperson, Noreen Kennedy stated “We are very proud of the fact that our club continues to foster this environment while also providing a pathway for our players to develop further and represent Pallasgreen on various county teams. Throughout recent years the club has been represented on development & County squads and our coaches are generous with their time for County Management teams & development programmes. We have been very fortunate to have the continued support from our local businesses and parents to ensure our girls are well represented with sportswear and jerseys. We are delighted that Lee’s Centra, Pallasgreen have recently sponsored our U10 team with a lovely new set of team jerseys. Both club and players are extremely grateful for this superb gesture from Ray & Brendan and it is truly inspiring to see the U10 girls playing in their new team jerseys”. Lee’s Centra Group, owned by brothers Ray & Brendan Lee have recently acquired the Centra / Circle K store in Pallasgreen, Co Limerick. The brother’s, who hail
