JUNIOR FOOTBALL : East Junior B football final took place on Sunday evening in Cappamore between Knockane and Oola played in front of large attendance we got a very even game of football between two very committed teams.
On the evening they could not be separated and the match ended in a draw 1-9 a piece.
The match will be replayed and a new date will be advised as soon as possible.
The East board would like to thank Referee Mike Moloney and his officials and to Cappamore for the use of the field.
This year for both Junior B finals there is player of the match award along with a Voucher for one for all.
This has been Kindly sponsored by JJ Mulcahy of the Old Quarter bar in Limerick and in the drawn match Kyran O’ Donnell from the Knockane club received the player of the match award and voucher Maria Ownes of Secretary of the East board presented the Trophy.
JUNIOR HURLING: Round 3 of the Junior B hurling will take place this coming Thursday 1st September start time will be 6.45pm
