On this Sunday 13th. December, Limerick will be bidding to win their ninth All Ireland Senior Hurling Title, we take back at the previous winning finals. (1921 and 1934)
In the 1921 final, Limerick defeated Galway to win their third All Ireland Title played in Croke Park on 4th. March 1923 when Limerick were first winners of the Liam MacCarthy Cup, the Limerick Captain was Bob McConkey

The fourth All Ireland title came in 1934, when Limerick played Dublin, the sides played out a draw in Croke Park on 2nd. September, and Limerick proved best in the replay four weeks later on 30th. September back in Croke Park, Limerick were, captained by Tim Ryan
