ST PATRICK’S

Limerick Senior Hurlers:
Huge well done to Gearóid Hegarty and the Limerick senior hurling team who guaranteed a Munster Final spot, to be played on Sunday June 5th, following an exciting drawn game against neighbours Clare in Ennis.
Our clubman Gearóid was immense once again, contributing big scores at key moments, spoiled somewhat by an extremely harsh dismissal for two bookings.
All in the club are extremely proud of Gearóid who is a fantastic player and a brilliant role model for us all.
Congratulations must also go to Billy Lee and the Limerick Senior footballers who also qualified for the Munster Final. A first double Munster Final for Limerick since 1934.
Bord na nÓg:
Underage training and competitions continue apace. Friday night hurling had another cracking evening in the sun at Rhebogue for our U5, U7 & U9 hurling teams. Huge numbers were present, enjoying the fundamental movements and they are honing their hurling skills as the weeks go on. A joy to watch.
U5, U7 & U9 football training continued on Monday night. A super evening of skills and movement exercises for our young St Patrick’s stars. You can join in the fun by contacting this club page or Niall (0879332833)
St Patrick’s U11 group welcomed Caherline for a hurling blitz and travelled to Mungret for a football blitz this week. This group continue to grow and prosper with each passing week, well done to all coaches and parents of our various underage groups.
