Road Hurling 2022:
Our annual road hurling tournament took place on Wednesday December 28th last and again was a tremendous success. This year’s event had just over 40 teams participate. The winners of each category were presented with their trophies in the The Four Elms in the evening followed by music and lots of singing. The overall winning team was Cathal O Neill, Gearóid Holland and Seán Holland. It was a wonderful community event bringing everyone together to celebrate a great year for the club.
Who in the Parish Quiz:
The winner of this year’s Christmas quiz was Joan Dooley. The quiz proved very popular last year so John Cooney decided to do another this year. Again, it gave the Parish lots of talking points as to who related to what cryptic clue. Joan was presented her Hamper at the gates to Dooley Park by sponsor and quiz master John Cooney. Also in the photo was Joans grandson James and committee member Mary O Brien.
Club Limerick Draw:
Reminder to purchase your ticket for this year’s Club Limerick Draws that takes place each month with lots of fantastic prizes. Half of your proceeds comes directly back into our club and help towards the upkeep of our grounds.
Condolences:
Condolences to Diarmuid and Annemarie Kelly and their families on the death of Annemaries Dad and also to Owen Dunne on the death of his Dad. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.
