SOUTH LIBERTIES CLUB NOTES
Underage Academy
Our academy began with a flourish last Friday evening in Dooley Park and was very encouraging to see so many happy enthusiastic faces on all our players. Huge thanks to all our organisers, volunteers, coaches, parents, and members. Remember our Club shop will be open at all times for refreshments. We do ask that all parents reverse their cars into each parking space for the safety of all our children and help make our parking stewards job easier.
The Club would like to thank Jennifer Platt of Caherconlish Pharmacy for her sponsorship of a fully filled first aid bag for our Friday evening academy. Many thanks to Jenni and all her team for this very generous contribution.
U21 A Hurling ¼ Final
Our amalgamation team of South Liberties/Crecora-Manister were very unlucky last Sunday in their game against Cappamore played in Caherelly. The game ended Cappamore 0-17 to SL/CM 0-16. Many thanks to all mentors and players for the hard work all year.
AGM
The Club will hold its AGM on Monday December 6th. Positions that are up for filling are
Senior Secretary, Bord na nOg secretary and Bord na nOg Chairperson. Any other nominations for all positions and any motions need to be emailed by November 20th to secretary.southliberties.limerick@gaa.ie

FACILITIES COMMITTEE
There is an abundance of minor works to be undertaken within our club both inside the clubhouse and externally on our grounds. A Facility committee will be set up in the next couple of weeks so if anyone has any free time on occasion, please let us know. We have some volunteers always working in the background to strive to keep standards up to date and we want to take this opportunity to thank these people, but we do need more help. Every little helps.
Club Gear
Anyone wishing to purchase club gear for Christmas should do so soon in order to have on time, by logging onto O Neill’s and typing South Liberties or click on the Blue Shop Now button on Facebook.
