RETURN TO PLAY :
There was great scenes of joy and excitement throughout the entire South Division last week as Bord na nÓg Clubs and players returned to Training. Thanks to all who have worked tirelessly to get all under age groups hurling and football back out onto their local pitch as safely as possible . STAY SAFE and BEST OF LUCK to all Involved.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN : After many months of Covid-19 Lockdown, there is light on the horizon, with GAA Club games back on from 7th. June, after a return to training on Monday last 10th. May. South GAA have a number of important games from 2020 to be played

Junior ‘B’ Hurling Championship 2020 Semi Final
Blackrock V Camogue Rovers in Hospital at 3pm (Extra time being played if necessary)
All games are behind closed doors and under no circumstances are spectators permitted at the venues.

Semi Final will be played on Saturday 12th June at 3pm in Hospital with Extra time being played if necessary

All is still to play for in this competition so here are the possible scenarios
If Galbally win the Round 3 game, all teams will be level on points, the scoring difference does not apply as there was a walkover given in the competition, therefore there will be a draw on the evening of the 7th with first team drawn going straight to Final and the other two teams playing the Semi Final on the 12th of June at 6pm.
If Galbally draw the Roundd 3 game, Galbally will play Ballylanders in the Semi Final on the 12th of June at 6pm and Camogue Rovers will go straight to final as they beat Ballylanders in Round 4 (head-to-head)
If Banogue win the Round 3 game, Bangoue will play Ballylanders in the Semi Final on the 12th of June at 6pm and Camogue Rovers will go straight to final as they beat Ballylanders in Round 4 (head-to-head)
LIMERICK HURLERS BACK IN ALLIANZ LEAGUE ACTION ON THIS SUNDAY IN SALTHILL On Saturday last 8th. May, Limerick Senior Hurlers played Tipperary in the opening Round of Allianz Hurling League in LIT Gaelic Grounds , where the sides finished level 0.20 each after being level on numerous occasions throughout the game. It was a game that could have went either way with Tipperary edging in front late in the game but a great comeback from the home side ensured a division of the spoils Well Done to all involved in what was a very entertaining game despite the rule changes been enforced., special mention to the South Division players who figured in the game, Nickie Quad, Aaron Costello, Sean Finn and David Reidy.
MORE ALLIANZ LEAGUE ACTION THIS COMING WEEKEND :
With the opening Round of the Allianz Hurling League all played , Limerick will be out on the double this coming weekend, On Saturday evening 15th. May, at LIT Gaelic Grounds, Limerick Footballers will host Munster Champions Tipperary in the opening Round Allianz Football League Division 3 South at 5pm.
On Sunday 16th. May, Limerick Senior Hurlers make the journey to play Galway in Pearse Stadium Salthill in Allianz Hurling League Division 1A Round 2 game.at 3.45pm.
