Junior ‘B’ Hurling Championship takes center stage

Four more games in the South Junior ‘B’ Hurling championship this week, which got underway on Monday evening when Bruff hosted Hospital/Herbertstown in Group where both sides were anxious for a victory to remain in contention.

On this Tuesday evening 11th. August, there are three games down for decision, Dromin/Athlaccawill play host to neighbours Bruree in Group 1, both sides will be looking for the win to remain in contention, while Blackrock host Camogue Rover also in Group 1 in Kilfinane and the home side will be seeking to copper fasten their position in the Championship. In Group 2 Castletown/Ballagran make the journey to play Glenroe, where both sides will be anxious to get the win. To get points on the table.

Best of Luck is extended to the following teams from the South Division who are in Under 21 Hurling Championship action on this Wednesday 12th.August, Bruff who play Adare in the County Under 21 ‘A’ Hurling Championship Final in Mick Neville Park 7pm , Coshlea Gaels when they play Ballybricken/Bohermore-Fedamore in the County Under 21 ‘B’ Hurling Championship final at 7pm in Kilmallock, and to Garryspillane in the Mint Catering Premier Under 21 Hurling Championship Semi Final when they play Doon at 7pm in Bruff

County Football Championship :
County Football Championship commence this weekend : After three weekends of the County Hurling Championship, this weekend will see Round 1 of the Senior, Intermediate and Junior Football followed by Round 2 and Round 3 over the following two weekends.
