Club Limerick Draw – July & August:
Heartiest congratulations to Jack Coleman, the July Winner of €10,000 in the Club Limerick Draw. A great win for Jack and his young family. Delighted to be joined at the presentation by Jack’s family, club members and Limerick county board officials. Enjoy the win Jack!
Also, congratulations to our members in the August Club Limerick Draw, firstly to John Keating (Ballywilliam) who won 7th prize €500, Geraldine Meade (Five Roads) winner of 19th prize €200 and Joe O’Connor (Ballywilliam) winner of 26th prize €200.

Intermediate Football Championship
Well done to our Intermediate Footballers who enjoyed a good win last Thursday night against Gerald Griffins. The final score on the night from Askeaton was Rathkeale 2-10, Gerald Griffins 2-7. This result keeps our season alive and we now currently sit in 3rd place on 4 points, narrowly edging out Gerald Griffins on score difference. Our final round will see us play Pallasgreen while Gerald Griffins are scheduled to play table toppers Mungret St Pauls. Best of luck to the players and management in this final group match which is currently scheduled for the weekend of September 14th.
Junior A Hurlers:
Our hurlers have it all to day if they wish to make it through to the knock out phase of the Junior A Championship. Having played 2 games, we have registered two defeats to the hands of Drom\Broadford and Mungret St Pauls unfortunately. We have 3 games remaining where we need to start picking up points rapidly. Our next fixture is scheduled for Friday 1st September, with Doon providing the opposition. The match is fixed for Mungret with a 6.45 throw in, best of luck to all involved.
U13 Footballers:
A big well done to the Cappagh/Rathkeale U13 Footballers who defeated Kildimo/Pallaskenry last week on a scoreline of 4-7 to 3-7. This was a playoff game which qualified the team to play Monaleen in a Division 1 County Semi final.
This is a hardworking group of players with a never say die attitude and all this is paying off for them. Well done to all players and management.
