RATHKEALE GAA CLUB NOTES

Kellogg’s Cul Camps
Rathkeale GAA Club are currently hosting the Kellogg’s Cul Camp in the Bog Garden, which will finish on July 16th. This is a very enjoyable week for our kids so we hope they all enjoy it, the good weather will certainly help!
Junior A Hurlers Our Junior hurlers had an impressive result this afternoon beating Newcastle West GAA Club junior team by a scoreline of 3-19 to 1-11. This leaves us joint top at the end of the league which will see us into a three way play off with Askeaton and St Kierans. Great to have more competitive fixtures for the lads before championship!
Intermediate Footballers Continue Good Form
Well done to our Intermediate Footballers who enjoyed a good win over Adare last Tuesday evening, on a scoreline of 0-10 to 2-03 in the West Senior league. This was a hard fought contest which will stand to our lads as the year progresses. This was our final league game which saw us finish second in our group with 3 wins and a loss. With only one team progressing, it is our final competitive action until championship later in the year.

Another busy week for our underage teams on the field this week. Our U13 hurlers had a successful outing against Mungret St Pauls on Wednesday night. Our U11 footballers kept the good times going with a win over Feohanagh/Castlemahon GAA.
