Sean Finn Remembered – 100 Year Anniversary – 30th March 2021
Last Tuesday, March 30th, amidst the golden sunshine in Rathkeale, Sean Finn’s 100 Year Anniversary was marked in St Mary’s Cemetery. Due to the gathering restrictions that are currently in place, Paul Foley from Limerick GAA and James O’Connor of Rathkeale GAA, kicked off the short memorial in front of a very small number of representatives.
Pat Sheahan laid a photograph of Sean Finn, while John Cregan, chairman of Limerick GAA laid a wreath in his honour. Fr Willie Russell proceeded to say a few words of prayer before blessing the grave.
Liam Lenihan,Chairman of the Munster Council and Mike O’Riordan, Secretary of Limerick GAA were also present on this special day. Other representation from Rathkeale GAA included Mary Liston, Mike Dillon, Jim ‘Blackie’ McEnery, Deane Maune & David Gilbourne.

Club Limerick Draw 2021 – Fantastic Start to the new Season!
We have kicked off in style in the first draw of Club Limerick Draw 2021 with Carmel White winning a whopping €1,000, well done Carmel. Mar & Mary Francis Roche won a nice sum of €250, with Eoin Duggan securing €100. Well done to all our winners and a sincere than you to all our new members and existing members who renewed once again for the 2021 campaign, best of luck to you all in the future draws. If you haven’t joined already, you can still do so by registering for the nine remaining draws using the following link https://limerickgaa.ie/club-limerick-draw-signup/.
Club Membership Now Due
Club membership for the 2021 season is now due. Rates for the upcoming season are as follows:
Adult Player – €50
Under-18 Player – €20
Adult Non-Player – €30
Family (2 Adults – 1-6 Children) – €70
Registration can be processed easily on the Foireann website, the link can be found on our Facebook page. If you haven’t registered online previously, you simply just need to create a profile and select Rathkeale GAA as your club. All players must pay their membership prior to taking part in any games or training. This will be strictly enforced this year so ensure sure you register today!
