RATHKEALE
Intermediate Footballers Bow Out
Our intermediate footballer’s season unfortunately came to an end for 2022. After receiving a walkover from Fr Caseys, we finished on 6pts in the Group Stages, which would have been enough to progress to the knock out stages for many season. Having said that, it wasn’t to be after losing out on the key head to heads, with Mungret St Pauls, Dromcollogher Broadford and Gerald Griffins all progressing. No doubt both the players and management will take learnings to help us drive on for 2023. Thanks to all for their effort and commitment, hopefully we have better fortunes next year.
U15 Hurlers
Well done to the U15 Hurlers of Croagh\Kilfinny\Rathkeale who recently beat Caherline in the County U15 Shield final, winning on a scoreline of 2-17 to 2-08. Well done to all involved in what was a great achievement.
Speedy Recovery
We wish ‘Blackie’ Jim McEnery a speedy recovery and we hope to see you back on the sidelines and stands in the very near future, from all in Rathkeale GAA Club and the surrounding parish.
Recent Bereavement – Helen Clune (nee Dalton) – RIP
