PATRICKSWELL GAA CLUB NOTES
SENIOR HURLERS: Patrickswell are scheduled to visit Doon in the All County Hurling League on Saturday June 15 at 7.30pm.
JUNIOR A HURLERS: The Junior A hurlers opened their City Championship campaign with a solid victory over Mungret. Patrickswell were the better side in the first half as they pulled ahead by 1-10 to 0-7 at the break. The second half saw the ‘Well push further ahead and ran out 3-15 to 1-10 winners. On Tuesday June 11, Patrickswell face Monaleen at 7pm in Clarina.
UNDER 14 HURLERS: The U-14 hurlers beat neighbours Croom on a scoreline of 4-2 to 3-2 in the sixth match of the Championship. The performance was solid and the win was deserved.
INTERCOUNTY HURLERS: Congratulations to the Limerick hurlers for their comprehensive win over Clare in the All-Ireland Hurling Championship. Best wishes to Cian, Aaron and Diarmaid against Tipperary.
CLUB LOTTO: Lotto results for the week ending Tuesday June 4 were as follows. The numbers drawn were 3, 10, 14 and 21. The Bonus was 20. There was no jackpot winner. The Lucky Dip Winners were Mary Bourke €100, Fergus Kilcoyne €50, Mary Shinnors €20, Paddy McCarthy €20, Darragh Bennis €20, Chris Keating €20 and Paul O’Neill €20. The next draw on Monday June 10 will be held in Cu Chulainn. The jackpot is €12,600!
