PATRICKSWELL GAA CLUB NOTES
JUNIOR A HURLERS: The Junior A hurlers secured their place in the City League final after a fine win against neighbours Ballybrown in Crecora. The first half was keenly contested as the sides matched each other. At the interval, the scoreline was 1-7 to 2-4. In the second half, Patrickswell were resolute in defence and kept up their scoring rate. The final result was 1-16 to 2-9 in favour of the ‘Well. SENIOR HURLERS: The Senior hurlers travel to Kilmallock at 7.30pm on Tuesday May 28 in the All-County Hurling League. UNDER 14 hurlers: The U-14 hurlers suffered their first setback of the championship when they lost by 3-17 to 0-10 to Templeglantine. The boys played really well and worked very hard for each other. INTERCOUNTY HURLERS: Best wishes to Cian, Aaron and Diarmaid in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship against Waterford on Sunday. CLUB LOTTO: Lotto results for the week ending Monday May 20 were as follows. The Numbers Drawn were 9, 11, 14 and 20. The Bonus was 17. There was no jackpot winner. The Lucky Dip Winners were Elaine Kennedy €100, Mary Darcy €50, Pauline O’Connell €20, Cora Cliffe €20, M. Dooley €20, Mike McKey €20 and Deirdre Shanahan €20.
