PALLASGREEN GAA CLUB NOTES.
ASHLING MURPHY TRIBUTE: Pallasgreen GAA Club will hold a candle light vigil last Monday evening in memory of the late Ashling Murphy who died so trajically last week. The senseless murder of Ashling Murphy in Tullamore took its toll on the country this week, and has led to days of public grieving and solidarity. The Club paid their tributes to the late school teacher with laying the number 23 jersey (Ashling’s age) in the centre of the pitch accompanied with a wreath by the club secretary Margo Greene. Traditional Irish music by local artists enriched a very sombre but touching occasion which has united everyone in solidarity.
