CO IHC SEMI FINAL: Pallas Championship aspirations came to a halt in Ballyagran last Sunday afternoon when Croagh/Kilfinny proved too good on the day. The game had been moved from Claughaun earlier in the day due to ground conditions but the well appointed venue of Ballyagran was near perfect on a lovely October day. Croagh led at the break 1-10 to 0-6 in a half where Pallas played second fiddle for most of it. The second period was an improvement but the quality of the Croagh forwards was the key to their success. Pallas never gave up the fight and saved their best moments in the last quarter. Croagh were deservedly winners and won on a scoreline of 1-21 to 0-12. Team; Trevor McMahon, O Roche, PJ Butler, K O’Donnell, L O’Dea, T Franklin, P O’Dwyer, C O’Dwyer, C McMahon (0-1), C Ryan (0-10), Tony McMahon, P Roche (0-1), J O’Donnell, B Fanning , A Cosgrave. Subs Used; D McMahon C Ryan, A Hanley.
