CO INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL: A poor first half showing was the catalyst for Pallas defeat to Rathkeale in the round three of the Co championship last Friday evening in Claughaun. The game was nicely poised fifteen minutes in until a goal by Rathkeale which seemingly they grew in confidence and led at the break by 1-10 to 0-3. The second half was an improvement but the damage was done In the first period and couldn’t repair the large deficit. Final scoreline Pallas 0-8 Rathkeale 1-14. U19 HURLING: The U19 hurlers bowed out of the championship at the quarter final stage to a good Belville Gaels team in Clarina last week. Missing a few key players Pallas found their opponents too good on the night and lost by a handsome margin 3-16 to 0-7.
