JUNIOR B HURLING: Pallas and Doon crossed sticks last week in sunny Doon in the junior B Hurling championship. The first half was played at a pedestrian pace given the heat and Doon took a one point lead 0-7 to 0-6. The second half the tempo upped as the battle for honours were at stake. But the home with the only goal of the game just about shade the contest on a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-15. PALLASGREEN GAA CLUB GOLF CLASSIC: You could be forgiven if you thought you were in the Portugal playing in the Club Classic last weekend. Lots of cold water, towels and of course a lovely social occasion all added to a successful classic in Ballykisteen. Congrats to the organisers for their massive input ensuring that everything went according to plan. PALLASGREEN LGFA: The ladies footballers continued their winning ways with a fine win over neighbours Oola in Sologhead last Saturday evening. On a balmy warm evening Pallas were narrowly ahead at the break by 0-7 to 1-3. The second half the scores came thick and fast and in a wonderful game of football Pallas were ahead at the finish by 4-9 to 2-5.
