OOLA GAA CLUB NOTES

South Senior League
Oola contested the South League final playing Ballylanders on Tuesday 13th July in Hospital. A minute silence was observed by both teams for Billy Godfrey RIP.
By the first water break Ballylanders were 0-3 up with Oola failing to score in the first quarter despite having goal chances. The score at the end of the first half was Ballylanders 0-4 Oola 0-2.
The second half saw Ballylanders out score Oola 0-8 to 0-5, however Oola were dominated in the half and just could not register the scores. On 3 occasions Oola hit the crossbar. Oola played good football however Ballylanders won the match 0-12 to 0-7.

Oola U13 footballers started their campaign in Division 1 with a win over Monaleen.They face Dromcollogher-Broadford in the next round on July 29th in Dromcollogher at 7pm.
The U17’s also had a good win over Ballylanders in Oola on Wednesday last,2-7 to 1-2.They now are top of the group as are the u15 team who beat Ahane in Oola on Moday last.U15’s play Galbally in Galbally on Monday 26th at 7pm.
U8 girls took on St. Ailbes away on Friday last in the searing heat while the U10’s played St Bridgets at home.U10’s are due to play Lattin/Cullen on Friday next at 7pm in Oola.U 12’s also playin on Friday in oola against St Ailbes at 7pm.

U19’s continued their campaign sucess on Thursday night last against St.Ailbes,2-6 to 1-6.They play St Bridgets on Tuesday ,20th July
Junior ladies are due to plat Ballylanders in Div 4 league on July 25th in Oola at 12 noon.
