OOLA GAA CLUB NOTES

Results:
Round 4 of the senior county league resumed last weekend with Oola travelling to Galbally. The half time score was Oola 0-7 Galbally 1-6. Oola never took the lead in the second half and fought hard to bring it back to a 1 point game however, Galbally finished the stronger winning on a score line of 2-12 to 0-14.

Our last game in the east junior league was played on bank holiday Monday. An under strength Oola team faced Knockane in Oola. The half time score was Oola 0-4 Knockane 0-9. Knockane were always in control of the game and won the match 2-6 to 2-14.

Monthly Meeting:
Oola GAA monthly meeting will take place this Saturday 8th of June at 8:15pm.

Congratulations to Jack Downey and Dubhan O’Grady on being part of Limerick U20 football panel, unfortunately results did not go there way against Offaly.

Well done to Paddy Downey who won U14 player of the year for the Abbey school Tipperary.

Well done to Shane O’Grady who was part of the South Tipp U13 soccer team that won the Subway All Ireland Plate in Belfast last weekend.

Congratulations to Oola National School Hurling and Camogie teams who have both qualified for East Schools Finals.
