Lotto
Our weekly lotto draw took place on Monday the 9th of May. The numbers drawn were 15, 18, 27, 29. There was no Jackpot winner, so next week the jackpot will increase to €4,000. The lucky dip winners of €40 each were Miriam Shanahan (Online), Cillian McMahon (Online), Dan Lenihan, Noreen Reidy c/o Noma’s, Kieran McMahon c/o Derry McMahon.
Our tickets are now on sale for €2.00 each or 3 for €5. They can be purchased online at www.ncwgaa.com click on Lotto on the drop down menu or through any of the local outlets/promoters selling same. A reminder to those of you on social media, that our draw goes out live every Monday evening at 8.30 p.m on Facebook. We thank you all for your continued support.
Note: anyone who paid upfront for 2020 will be entered on a weekly basis up to 28th November 2022.
Club Zap

Follow the onscreen instructions to set up, so you will never again miss out on the latest club news, fixtures, results, lotto draw results etc. Lotto can be played through the app.
Adult Hurling
The Intermediate hurlers were not action since the Croagh Kilfinny match on the 7th, next up is Feohanagh Castlemahon at home on the 21st of May, and that is currently fixed for 7pm.
Adult Football
The Senior footballers had a 3.19 to 0.06 victory over Kildimo Pallaskenry in NCW on the 10th of May, their next outing is in Ballyhahill on the 17th of May against Gerald Griffins – result not available at time of going to press.
Limerick Senior Footballers
Well done to Billy Lee and the Limerick senior football team on qualifying for the Munster Senior Football Final following their impressive 2.10 to 0.10 victory over Tipperary in Semple Stadium. They will take on Kerry in Killarney in the final on Saturday the 28th of May.
NCW are proudly represented within the setup by players Iain Corbett, Cian Sheehan and Diarmuid Kelly, manager Billy Lee, selector Shane Kelly, with Jimmy Lee, Liam Keane and Austin Geraghty also part of the backroom staff.
Limerick Senior Hurlers
Congratulations to the Limerick senior hurlers on qualifying for the 2022 Munster Senior Hurling Final, following a hard fought draw with Clare in Ennis. Clare will also provide the opposition in the final, which is scheduled for Thurles on Sunday the 5th of June.
Limerick U20 Hurling
Best of luck to Ethan Hurley, Pa Keane and the Limerick U20 hurlers in the All Ireland U20 hurling final against Kilkenny. The match will throw in at 1.30 on Sunday the 22nd of May in Semple Stadium.
NEWCASTLE WEST GAA JUVENILE CLUB NOTES
Cúl Camp
NCW GAA will be hosting a Cúl Camp from Monday 27th June to Friday 1st July – booking details can be found online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
U17
The U17 championship doesn’t start until the end of June following state exams. Training continues and the squad will have a challenge match against Askeaton on Wednesday the 18th of May.
U15
The U15 championship is now taking a break for the exams, the boys had a good run out in a tough challenge match against Kildimo Pallaskenry on the 16th of May in Kildimo. and will take on Bruff on the 23rd of May in Bruff.
U13
Hard luck to the U13 hurlers who lost out to Monaleen in their D2 championship match on the 12th of May in Monaleen. Injury and illness meant we were missing some key players but the boys gave a very good account of themselves and have 2 wins from 3. Football is up next and we welcome South Liberties to NCW on the 19th of May.
U11
Our U11 hurlers took on Granagh Ballingarry on the 10th of May in football in Ballingarry, and will travel to Coolyroe on Thursday the 17th of May to play Feoganagh Castlemahon in football.
U9
Our U9s hosted Killeedy on the 13th of May for a hurling match, we had a great level of attendance as numbers continue to be strong at this level – well done to all involved. We travel to Abbeyfeale on the 20th of May for our next football match.
Well done to Ross and Declan Óg on being awarded our players of the week this week.
U7
We had no U7 match last weekend, and football is up next as we travel to Dromcolliher on the 21st of May.
