NA PIARSAIGH GAA CLUB NOTES

SENIOR FOOTBALLERS

Our Senior Footballers had a good win in Round 2 of the Irish Wire County Senior Football Championship where they defeated Galbally.
The game played in Bruff on Sunday where a win was a must.
The lads delivered and were worthy 1-9 to 0-4 leaders at the break with our goal coming from Eoin Hogan from the penalty spot.
Second half goals from Dylan Cronin and Will Henn sealed a very good victory on a 3-15 to 0-10 scoreline.

LOTTO

The jackpot is now at €7100 follow ing last Mondays draw.
The numbers drawn were 03, 08, 11, 14.
Lucky dip winners were Peg Hurley, Geraldine Looney and Doreen Sheppard.
Sellers prize went to Martin Harty and Christine Daly the house draw.

BINGO

The weekly bingo is going strong and a fine crowd in attanadance each week.
The snowball is now at €1100.
Why not call to the club any Tuesday from 7.30pm and give it a try.
All newcomers welcome.

EASTER CAMP

The Easter camp is fast approaching.
The dates are Tuesday 23rd to Friday 26th April incl.

GREAT LIMERICK RUN

Volunteers are being sought to steward the Great Limerick run.
The areas include the Ennis Road, Clareview and Ashbrook.

UNDERAGE FOOTBALL ACADEMY

The underage football academy is back up and running where each Wednesday at 6.30pm is allocated.
Why not call down and give it a go.

50th BOOK LAUNCH

The launch of the club’s 50th year history book takes place on Easter Saturday at 7.30pm
This is the culmination of 2 years hard work by a dedicated team of volunteers .
The book will be launched on the night by GAA Presienrt John Horan.
All past and present members both young and old are invited to attend.
Please spread the word…music and finger food will follow the formalities.
