CROOM GAA CLUB NOTES

Intermediate Hurling:
Our Intermediate hurlers will play the first round of the championship v Tournafulla this Sunday April 14th 2pm in the Bog Garden Rathkeale. Round 2 is the following Friday 19th (Good Friday) 6.30pm in the Bog Garden again v Newcastle West. Please come along and cheer on your local club team.
U14 Hurling & Football:
Our U14 footballers commence their championship this Wednesday 10th at home v Mungret at 6.30pm. The U14 hurlers compete in the Feile na nGael this Saturday 13th. They are in the Feile B which has 8 groups with the top team in each group qualifying for the quarter finals. They play Claughaun at 10am and Askeaton/Ballysteen/Kilcornan at 12.30. Venue TBC.
U16 Hurling:
Our U16 hurlers started their championship last week with a very disappointing loss to Askeaton/Ballysteen on a scoreline of 3.08 : 1.00. Round 2 is next Monday 15th at home v Kileedy/Tournafulla at 6.30pm.
Commemorative Plaques in the Clubhouse:
We are delighted to launch our fundraising plaque initiative for the clubhouse. This is a plaque that you can have personalied with names dedicated to your family or loved ones maybe with a short message. The plaques will be on display together in the hall upstairs in the clubhouse. It is a nice gesture to remember those close to you while at the same time helping to fund the clubhouse development. Plaques are €100 and are available to order from Alan Sheerin on 0833031794. Limerick Clubs Draw:
The first draw will be held on Saturday April 27th live on 95FM. Your draw sellors are available so please make contact while Noreen Reidy is the draw co-ordinator and can be contacted if you wish to join the darw. At least 50% of monies raised go back to each club and the rest goes towards funding many different projects in Limerick GAA.
