MURROE BOHER GAA CLUB NOTES

“Team up for Theo”

A member of our camogie club is after setting up a gofundme page “Team up for Theo” for her son. Theo is only 3 and a half and has cancer for the last 2 years. Little Theo has already had 3 surgeries, 2 stem cell transplants, 6 rounds of Immunotherapy, 14 rounds of Radiotherapy and has been in the ICU twice. Eleanor and Theo need to go to New York this January 2021 to get on a trial to help prolong his life, so needed to raise €375,000 which thankfully has nearly been raised.

Murroe-Boher Camogie and Football club have teamed up and are organising a virtual walk “Trek for Theo” where we plan to cover the amount of steps that will get Theo from Murroe, Co. Limerick to New York and back again. Working out at roughly 14 million steps.

So the goal is you would do 10,000 steps for 10 days and make a minimum donation of €10. If you would be interested in supporting this please check out the website
