ST. PATRICKS DAY
Huge well done to all our players who participated in the St Patrick’s Day Parade. It was great to see such a big crowd back enjoying the festivities.
U-15 FEILE FOOTBALL
There was a feast of football in Mungret on Friday 18 March 2022 when our U-15 Féile football team faced the other two teams in the A division. We were first up against a strong Monaleen side but Mungret St. Pauls had some fantastic passages of play and turnover but Monaleen were more dominant in scoring. Final score Mungret St. Pauls 0-1 Monaleen 1-7. Monaleen went on to beat Fr. Caseys 1-4 to 0-3 in another game of great skill. The last match of the morning saw Mungret St. Pauls played Fr. Caseys both looking for a win. Mungret St. Pauls showed up and gave a great account of themselves in this game, they took control of the play and held possession for a lot of this match to come out on top and go through to the Final the next day with a score of 1-5 to 0-4.
Saturday 19 March 2022, our players got a fresh start in Mick Neville Park, there was a strong breeze like the day before but our team put everything they had into the game and kept Monaleen at bay for the first half but a goal at the start of the second half left Mungret St. Pauls fighting back. Monaleen proved too strong yet again and Mungret St. Pauls finished in second place on a score of Mungret St. Pauls 0-2 Monaleen 3-3.
Well done to all our players and management for all the hard work they put into this weekend.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL
Mungret St. Pauls 3-5 Crecora Manister 1-9
On Sunday 20 March 2022 in Crecora our Junior footballers opened their season against the hosts in the league match. Crecora Manister had two points up before one of our younger players replied with a ball into the net, this was followed up after a misplaced ball from Crecora Manister saw it back into the back of their net giving Mungret St. Pauls a great start. After two points to each side Crecora Manister scored their own goal but Mungret St. Pauls replied on the kickout sending the ball to the other end and into the back of the net, this left the half time score 3- 2 to 1-4.
The second half had all the scores except one coming from frees, Crecora Manister had a great comeback but were two points shy by the final whistle. A great start to the league from what is our second football team.
