MUNGRET ST. PAUL’S

LIMERICK PLAYERS
It was a tight game for the U-20 hurlers on Sunday 22 May in Thurles against Kilkenny, unfortunately Limerick lost by just one point. Well done to Diarmuid Mullins and all the team in their hard fought battle. Mungret St. Pauls are delighted to have Brian O’Meara, Barry Duff and Liam Lynch on the panel.
U-13 FOOTBALL
We had both U-13 football teams out on Thursday 19 May 2022 our division 1 team were at home against Adare where a great standard of football was shown by both sides. Mungret St. Pauls had a slight lead by half time but Adare leveled the game soon after the restart. The ball saw both ends of the pitch with Mungret St. Pauls getting one extra score in before the final whistle. Final score Mungret St. Pauls 2-7 Adare 2-6
Our younger players travelled to Monaleen to play their second team, this was another game of great skill by half time both sides were level. Monaleen were stronger in the second half and held Mungret St. Pauls from any further scores. Final score Mungret St. Pauls 2-1 Monaleen 3-7
