U-15 FOOTBALL
Mungret St. Pauls 9-13 Dromcollogher Broadford 0-3
In the Crescent College Comprehensive pitch on Monday 9 May our Division 1 team took on Dromcollogher Broadford, this was a very one sided game with Mungret St. Pauls taking a heavy win.
JUNIOR A HURLING
Mungret St. Pauls 3-16 Monaleen 3-14
On Monday 9 May, there was a heavy shower before the game started but the rain stayed off for all the match to be played. This game was a tight game with the lead swopping from one team to the other for all of the first half, Monaleen had a one point lead by the break.
Back out Mungret St. Pauls took a few minutes to settle back into the game leaving Monaleen extend their lead but Mungret St. Pauls found their footing again and with the aid of a penalty we regained the lead. Mungret St. Pauls kept a five point lead for most of the last quarter matching each of Monaleens points before Monaleen struck the net for the last time in the game which left Mungret St. Pauls enough to win the game by the full time whistle.

THANK YOU
Mungret St. Pauls would like to Thank Veronica Lavin for all the work she has done in the club shop. Back in early 2012, Veronica along with James O’Doherty and Wanda Dwane set up the club shop so there would be a building that members could purchase Mungret St. Pauls club gear. Veronica unfortunately is stepping away from her club shop duties after 2o years, Mungret St. Pauls really appreciates all the work she has done with her co-pilot of recent years, Niamh Mangan. We are sorry to see her go and would like to wish her well. Thank You Veronica.

U8 FOOTBALL
A fabulous morning, Sunday 15 May 2022 of U-8 football following Limerick’s great semi final win to reach the Munster Final. Well done to all the teams, players and mentors involved who played Monaleen.
U-13 HURLING
We had both U-13 hurling teams out on Thursday 12 May 2022 our division 2 team went out the road to South Liberties, this was a very challenging match for our older players as South Liberties really put it up to them, we were losing by a few goals but with a titanic effort the Mungret St. Pauls team brough the score back to only one goal separating the sides.
Final score Mungret St. Pauls 3-5 South Liberties 5-2
Our younger players had a great win in the Crescent College Comprehensive pitch as they welcomed Dromin Athlacca Banogue. It was a tight enough match with not much on the score board every strike of the ball counted and Mungret St. Pauls put it to good use when they got a chance.
Final score Mungret St. Pauls 1-4 Dromin Athlacca Banogue 1-2
INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL
Mungret St. Pauls 1-17 Claughaun 2-10
It was a warm day on Saturday 14 May 2022 in Claughaun as our Intermediate footballers took on the hosts. This was a great game of working the ball through the hands and taking on a score. It was neck and neck for most of the start with a penalty opportunity for Mungret St. Pauls boosted the score a bit but Claughaun edged their way back in with their own goal near the end of the first half which leveled the sides. One additional point from Mungret St. Pauls was the only thing separating the two sides on the whistle.
Back out Mungret St. Pauls took an early lead only for Claughaun to net the ball again evening the score yet again. There was another boost of scores from Mungret St. Pauls with Claughaun not able to match our scores and running out of time. This win leaves Mungret St. Pauls second on the table just under Monaleen with three wins and one loss.
