Monaleen GAA Club Notes:

Lotto:
The latest Lotto draw took place on Thursday Jan 26th with the jackpot standing at €12,000. The numbers drawn were 17, 29, 32 and 35. The €50 lucky dip winners drawn were T.Clancy (Kilbane), T.Trehy (Killonan), G.Oleary (Riverside Mews) and C.O’Dwyer (Fairways).

Hard Luck:
To Donal O’Sullivan and Eoin O’Shea who were part of the Limerick Senior Football Panel who lost out to Derry in the first round of the National Football League last Sunday. Congratulations to Donal who has been appointed joint captain for the year.

Juvenile Meeting:
First juvenile meeting of 2023 will take place next Tuesday evening the 7th at 8pm in the clubhouse.

Membership:
Monaleen GAA Club membership for 2023 is now due and must be paid prior to 31st of March 2023. Membership must be processed through Foireann at www.foireann.ie
Please note that only those who are fully paid up adult members prior to the 31st of March can be included in draws for All Ireland Tickets or to have a vote at the club AGM.
Please also note that Juvenile Members and Social Members (including Tennis Club and Golf Society) do not qualify for these entitlements. Any social member may pay the top up to become a full member of the club for ticket or vote purposes, provided the full rate is paid before March 31st.
For 2023, the club has streamlined its membership rates as follows:
All Adult Players and First Juvenile Players in a family €100.00
A €10 reduction is applied for each subsequent underage player in the same family.
All other Members including coaches/officers/committee members: €75.00
Social Membership: €30.00
All players must pay their membership prior to undertaking any club activities as you are not covered for any injuries prior to membership being paid.

Ireland Light Up:
Walking campaign and the Every Step Counts challenge will commence again this January in partnership with the GAA Healthy Clubs initiative. Track your steps with the MyLife App and our club can win prizes. Simply download the “MyLife by Irish Life” app, join the Munster Every Step Counts Challenge and select MONALEEN GAA CLUB. The every step counts challenge runs from the 11th of January to the 15th of February. Your steps can be tracked at any time during the challenge.
Our community walk will continue from Monaleen clubhouse on Monday evenings at 7.15pm with the route incorporating the Castletroy Urban Greenway. So download the app, register now and get walking!

Sportskey:
We have partnered up with *SportsKey* to manage our Pitch & facilities booking.
This will streamline our booking system and remove the need to book via WhatsApp , text, emails, call etc.
Coaches need to log in and create a username & password via the below link.
Choose the slot you need and complete the booking.
Trainings are 1 Hour slot.
Matches/blitz are 1.5 Hour Slots
The booking is only complete when you receive a confirmation approval from the administrator.
Championship fixtures will be inputted when released in the spring. Championship as always will override trainings. It’s the responsibility of the coaches to monitor the calendar to ensure they are up to speed with changes.
