LOTTO: The latest Lotto draw took place on Thursday April 7th with the jackpot standing at €11,400. The numbers drawn were 7, 14, 26 and 27. LIMERICK U20 FOOTBALL: Congratulations to Darragh Murray, Conall O’Duinn and their teammates on a fine victory over Waterford in the Munster U20 Football Championship. Final Score Limerick 2:9 Waterford 1:6. They now play Cork in the Semi Final next Monday.
LIMERICK U20 HURLING: Well done to Donnacha, Lochlan and Ronan on Limericks win in the first round of the Munster Championship last week.
LIMERICK MINOR HURLERS begin their championship tomorrow Tuesday the 12th when they take on Cork in Pairc Ui Chaoimh at 7pm. Best of luck to Darragh, Mark and Ben and their teammates.
CONDOLENCES: All at Monaleen GAA Club are deeply saddened at the passing of Tony Cahill, a lovely man who will be sorely missed. We would like to express our condolences to his family and his friends in Monaleen at such an untimely loss. May he rest in peace.
MONALEEN CAMOIGE NOTES:
U10s
The U10s played 2 very competitive and good spirited games this Sunday against Patrickswell with great skill on show from both teams. A very cold morning but a nice crowd out to support the teams. Great experience for the girls, who continue to improve match on match.
U12s
Monaleen under 12’s played matches against Mungret today. Our two teams played 3 matches each. It was a great afternoons camogie. Well done to all the players and a special thanks to the members of the under 11 team who came along to play with the u12 team.
