LIMERICK FOOTBALLERS travel to play Carlow on Sunday.
On Sunday next 9th. February, Limerick Footballers travel to play Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park at 2pm. they travel in search of their third brace of Allianz Football League Division 4 points.
Limerick remain unbeaten after five games since the commencement of the McGrath Cup on Sunday 29th. December when they defeated Clare in the opening Round in Mick Neville Park, the following Thursday night January 2, at Fraher Field Dungarvan they overcame Waterford to reach the McGrath Cup Final, which was played in LIT Gaelic Grounds on Saturday 11th. January when Cork were the opponents and after a very fine display, Limerick emerged winners to lift the McGrath Cup for the first time since 2005.
The Allianz Football League got underway on Saturday 25th. January, Waterford were once the opponents in Fraher Field Dungarvan where once again Limerick prevailed to get their Allianz League off to a good start. London provided the opposition on Sunday last 2nd. February in Mick Neville Park in Round 2, played in very trying wind conditions Limerick won by the narrowest of margins to keep their winning sequence intact.
