BORD NA nOg COMES TO A CLOSE!
As the season has come to a close we would sincerely like to thank coaches, COVID officers parents children nd anyone else that helped out with our BNN teams this year. Whilst it was great to get back on to the field for training and matches the season threw up a number of challenges. But with the help of everyone involved we managed those challenges and we had a very successful season. Please enjoy the winter break, keep working on those hurling and football skills and we look forward to 2021 with great hope and anticipation.
U6 END OF YEAR
The last number of months saw the Clubs youngest players make their debuts at the field each Monday evening at U6 training. Boys and girls aged 5 and 6 years of age showed enthusiasm in great abundance each week right throughout the summer and autumn learning skills of the game. The group had their final session last Saturday morning and finished with each player receiving a medal and a goodie bag for their endeavours. Thanks to all whom assisted with the team throughout the year and in particular to the coaches James O Connor, Felim Mullane and Ger Downes. We look forward to seeing all the boys and girls for the Bord na nOg training again in February 2021, in the meantime keep practicing!!
