There is a charity vintage run in aid of Milford Care Centre on Sunday 22nd May in the village. Registration from 11.30am – Music afterwards in Scanlons Bar. All Welcome.
CLUB HISTORY – PATRONS SOUGHT
Under the direction of local historian Sean Liston and associated committee, we are currently compiling a history of our GAA club which will be published in the coming months. A huge amount of work has been undertaken behind the scenes in this project. We are now asking Individuals, Organisations or Businesses if they would be able to support this project by contributing towards the printing costs and in doing so will be acknowledged on our Patrons page in the book at a cost of €50 per patron. U20 MUNSTER HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS
Congrats to Jack Molloy and the Limerick u20s who had a brilliant win last Wed evening in the Munster u20 hurling final v Tipperary. A pulsating game played in a great spirit. Well done Jack and teammates, enjoy the celebrations and the very best of luck in the All Ireland final in two weeks time v Kilkenny or Wexford.
LIMERICK U15s – CONGRATULATION TO CILLIAN MCMAHON
Congrats and well done to Cillian McMahon who is part of the Limerick u15 football squad. Cillian and his teammates are busy playing games and training in preparation for their upcoming end of season tournament. Cillian is pictured below after Limerick played Meath recently.
KNOCKADERRY U15s
Well done to the u15s who had an excellent win the the football championship Monday eve in Askeaton, winning an excellent game, 2.4 to 1.10. Thanks a mill to Brian O Regan for sponsoring a new set of jerseys for the u15s, they got there first outing and win also! These jerseys were supplied by AG sports Patrickswell and are a lively new design on the club colours. We also have a new set for the u13s for their next game. Best wishes to Andy Dowling who suffered a serious hand injury in the first half but is recovering well.
