KILLEEDY GAA CLUB NOTES
Killeedy Bord na nÓg Virtual Fun Run:
As we are all in very uncertain times during Covid-19, we in Killeedy Bord na nÓg have decided to launch a virtual 5km event in March. Please walk/run with us on a 5km journey to raise funds for our underage groups.
Participants can support the race and walk/run in their own localities at a time best suited to them during the month of March.
Entry Fees: Individual Entry €10 or Family Entry €30
Entries and monies can be placed in an envelope and dropped into the Bord na nÓg collections box, at Keatings shop in Raheenagh.
The first 100 registered entrants, will receive a free Limerick neck warmer. Maximum of 2 neck warmers per family entry.
Registration 2021:
Registration has moved to online for 2021 season. Details on how to register will be communicated by officers and coordinators this week.
National Recognition from the Camogie Association:
Congratulations to John Camas Cunningham on your national Recognition from the Camogie Association for all the work he does, well deserved.
Limerick All-Stars:
Congratulations to Limerick’s 9 PWC All Star Hurling recipients for 2020 from all in Killeedy GAA & BNG clubs.
Irish Life Club Step Challenge
Killeedy are going strong in the Irish Life Club Step Challenge, we are currently in 16th position in Munster. With 56 people clocking up the kms each day, our little club have clocked over 18,000 kms since January 13th. Keep up the steps as the challenge ends on Mrach 3rd. Operation Transformation Virtual 5K

Jerusalema Challenge
Killeedy’s Jerusalema Challenge was launched on Sunday, many Killeedy people showed their dancing skills and Marie Keating Photography was on cue to capture the talent in Killeedy and the fantastic views from Glenquin Castle, Mass Rock and the Eco Park to name but a few. See link:
