Healthy Club Project Notes:
We did it….Killeedy GAA & Camogie Healthy Club Project have been officially recognised as a “Healthy Club Project”. The clubs have been working on initiatives for the past 18 months on their priorities areas such as Physical Activity and Healthy Food. This initiative is supported by Irish Life and Healthy Ireland, Killeedy GAA & Camogie Healthy Club Project received a Grant totalling €1,000. Aine and Joann were in Croke Park last Saturday at the GAA Healthy Clubs Conference. This Conference included workshops covering Mental Health in Sport, Diversity and Inclusion, Positive Aging and the Importance of Physical Activity. Renowned GAA coaching tutor, Paudie Butler, discussed in his keynote address how the development of the child – including their wellbeing – lies at the heart of all good coaching and is fundamental to the principles of the Healthy Club Project. Killeedy GAA & Camogie were presented with their framed Certificate which will be proudly place in the Clubhouse in Killeedy.

Well done to our mighty U6s . Great hurling and fun during the blitz last Saturday in Dromcollogher
U10s:
Well done last Sunday eveing in Templeglantine, great hurling played by all. No training 2moro eve. Our next game is Thursday eve in Raheenagh at 6pm v St.Kierans. All players to be there at 5.45pm.
The Mick Browne Shield Final is on Sunday 20th October in Raheenagh. Probable throw in time of 5pm.
