Golf Classic:

Killeedy GAA Annual Golf Classic sponsored again by The Village Inn Ashford, thanks to Geraldine, Tom and Staff.

Fri 5th July 1pm to 5pm

Sat 6th July 8.30am to 1pm.

The Pat Meehan Players Invitational Trophy is part of this year’s Golf Classic, as a celebration of the years of service Pat has given to Killeedy on the field.

Team of 3 Champagne Scramble.

1st Prize – 3 Ball in The Golf Club at Adare Manor.

€50pp includes goodie bag of refreshments and Main Course lunch in Club House. Contact Majella on 087-9919498 to book the last few remaining tee times.

Presentation of prizes including the Pat Meehan Trophy will take place in Ashford on Saturday night 6th from 8.30pm with BBQ by Rustic Catering & live music from local band The Shambollics.

Limerick were impressive winners over Clare with a final score of Limerick 1-17, Clare 1-10

Shane Harnett and Sean O’Connor

Killeedy hurlers, Shane Harnett and Sean O’Connor, playing with Limerick Sarsfileds, traveled to Tullamore on Saturday for a 7:30pm start against Roscommon in the BOI Celtic League U17 Challenge Final 2019:

Limerick, ahead at half time by 2 points and playing well, saw Roscommon spoil the celebrations with a duo of last minute free and penalty.

Difficult to lose any match by such narrow a margin. Hope ye enjoyed the experience and thank you from the club for representing us so well

Marie Keating:

Reaching the final against the UK in Sweden, Marie Keating and the Irish Banshees won impressively to be crowned AFL Euro Cup Champions 2019 – Well done Marie Keating, great game.

TJ Kelly been congratulated by his father, Tom Kelly after winning a minor medal on Sunday in the Gaelic Grounds. On behalf Killeedy GAA, we extend our congratulations to TJ and his family and praise TJ for being a great role model for the youth of our parish.
