U12 Hurling v Kilmallock on Thursday, 6th June 2019 in Hospital at 6.45pm
U14 Hurling v Caherline in Hospital GAA field on Monday, 3rd June 2019 at 7pm
U12 Football Our u12 footballer played Galtee Gaels last Thursday in Hospital. We started well and lead mid way through first half. Galtee Gaels then scored few quick goals and took control of the game. Our lads kept competing and working hard. But our opponents were stronger and won out. Well done to all our players who played on the night. Also well done to Galtee Gaels on a tough sporting game.
Our u14s played Pallasgreen last Monday in the football championship after a good performance in the first half we found ourselves a point down. We played well below par in the second half and we’re well beaten. We lined out again on Wednesday night in the hurling championship away to Ballybrown. In what that only can be called our worst performance of the year we were completely outclassed and received a 12 point drubbing. Hopefully this was a one off performance and is out of systems before the Feile which begins next weekend. Next up is Caherline on Monday night in Hospital in the hurling championship in a must win game and on to the Feile then on Friday
Our U14s take part in this year’s All Ireland Feile competition on next weekend June 7th-9th. We will be based in Carrignavar and being host by the local GAA club there Carrig na bhfearr. This is a great honour for all our players and mentors and we wish them the very best in this prestigious competition. We wish them best wishes and all support would be greatly appreciated.
