Junior B’s bow out of Championship after defeat to Blackrock
Glenroe Junior B’s suffered defeat to Blackrock in Blackrock convincingly on Saturday 9th of October. Glenroe started the game well keeping blackrock at bay but when Blackrock scored their first goal it was a struggle to come back from that the scores at half time were Blackrock 1-8 Glenroe 0-3. Glenroe really struggled in the second half as Blackrock pulled away outscoring Glenroe 2-11 to 0-5. The final scoreline was Blackrock 3-19 Glenroe 0-8. This result means the end of Glenroe Junior B’s chances of getting through to the knockout stages. After a great league campaign, it is disappointing for the season to end so early but lots of positives to take from the season. We would like to thank Shane Hennessy and Damien Cremins for the management skills that brought so much success in the league campaign. We look forward to next years campaign.
