An injury time a Blackrock point then left just two between the teams at the interval.

U15’s – On Monday night just gone there was a super win for our U15 hurlers in co final replay last night in Martinstown over Newcastlewest. Our lads got off to a flyer with 3 goals in the first qtr. Massive effort from all the over the field made life easier than the initial hard fought replay. Newcastlewest have a fine team and is a club making strides in the hurling landscape in Limerick. This team has trained very hard all summer and it was just reward to get them over the line. It was also a big help to have a large bouncers support on the night. Thanks to all who roared us on. Special word to the parents too for their help and work over the summer. Hopefully this will be a springboard for these lads to keep it going. Joint captains Declan Heavey and Hugh Flanagan lifted the cup on behalf of team.
