GARRYSPILLAANE GAA CLUB

Walkway Opening
On Friday night last 15th October Garryspillane GAA officially opened our fully lit walkway.
The walkway is available to all and we hope this facility will be used by many for years to come.
A fantastic achievement by our club to be able to provide this amenity in the heart of the community.
We would like to thank Ballyhoura Leader Programme , Limerick County Council Department of Rural and Community
Development for the financial support in helping us to reach our goal.
We would also like to thank Cllr Bridget Teefy, Mike O’ Riordan County secretary, Billy Lee Limerick football Manager
and of course our own John Kiely Limerick hurling manager for giving up their time to support this opening.
We have to give a special mention Minister Patrick O’Donovan who officially opened the walkway and as he was an integral part of all our developments we would sincerely like to thank him for taking the time to officially open our walkway.
Sincere thanks to everyone who turned our Friday night and those who helped in any way with the teas and refreshments.
Great night was had by all.
