Well done to John Kiely, Kieran Hickey and the Limerick hurlers having continued their revival in the Munster Championship at the Gaelic Grounds and best wishes ahead of the Old Firm border game against Tipperary this weekend. There was an interesting local connection when Kildare minor hurlers beat Offaly in the Leinster Championship last weekend. The manager of Kildare was none other than 1990 Galbally Intermediate winning Full Back, Eoin Stapleton. On the other sideline as Offaly manager was Leo O’Connor, a man who made many appearances against Galbally with Claughaun in his playing days.
The latest Split the Pot winner was Brian Sheehan who was the lucky winner of €410. Next Draw Saturday 15th June in The Welcome Inn.
